MGPN works across Canada, on the traditional and ancestral territories of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples of Turtle Island. Our head office in Newmarket, Ontario is on the territories of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Wendat peoples, within Williams Treaties territory. Our Manitoba pilot, near Grahamdale, is in Treaty 2 territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
Training, Hiring, and Employing Indigenous Talent in Canada’s Digital Economy
Maverick Gardner Pathways North (MGPN) is an Indigenous-led workforce company delivering real, on-shore digital work in rural and Indigenous communities.
Our employment-first model joins training, supervised practice and employment in one pathway. Participants learn on real client services, and once they’re assessed as work-ready, they move into roles at MGPN on the same engagements they practiced on. There are no certificate-only graduations and no waiting on outside placements.
Indigenous people build digital careers without leaving their communities, and MGPN advances Indigenous leadership in workforce development and community growth.

Training Partner, Indigenous Friends Association
At IFA, we’re more than a tech nonprofit; we’re a movement. We bridge the gap between Indigenous heritage and digital innovation, focusing on education, tech development, and research. Our mission is to support Indigenous communities through digital literacy, guided by our core values of love, integrity, and community.
How we advance truth & Reconciliation
MGPN advances Truth and Reconciliation through measurable outcomes: jobs created, wages earned, skills developed and careers sustained.
Our work supports Calls to Action 7 and 92 of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which address closing the Indigenous education and employment gap and equitable access to jobs, training and economic opportunity in the corporate sector. For MGPN, these calls are a daily operating model, not a policy statement.
As an Indigenous-led company, MGPN keeps employment pathways, workforce development and economic value under documented Indigenous control. Our long-term goal is Indigenous digital sovereignty: a self-sustaining capacity in which Indigenous communities increasingly lead the digital economy on their own terms.

We don’t train for hypothetical jobs — we prepare people for real digital work and hire on proven performance. Reconciliation is sustained economic participation, as skilled contributors and decision-makers.
Indigenous-lead delivery for the way you actually buy it.
Three service lines — capacity for other providers, managed services for end customers, embedded augmentation for programs that need named, on-shore people.
