Accessibility Statement
Effective: January 7, 2026
Maverick Gardner Pathways North Inc. (MGPN) is committed to making our website and digital content accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. As an Indigenous-led workforce initiative focused on employment, skills development, and long-term economic participation, accessibility is part of how we deliver on that mission — information, opportunities, and resources should be available to as many people as possible, on the terms each person needs.
Standards we follow
MGPN works to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the international standard for accessible web content, built on four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
In practice, that means:
- Clear, readable text and a logical navigation structure
- Sufficient colour contrast across the site’s palette
- Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements
- Compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies
- Forms and interactive components that work with assistive input
- Alternative text for images that carry meaning
Ongoing work
Accessibility is continuous, not a one-time pass. We review the site regularly as new content is added and features change, and we update where we find gaps. Some areas may not yet meet WCAG AA fully — particularly third-party embedded content (videos, social media, partner widgets) and older documents that weren’t created with accessibility in mind. We’re working to address those over time and to provide accessible alternatives where the original cannot be remediated.
Alternative access
If you encounter content that doesn’t work for you, contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information in an alternative format suited to your needs.
Feedback and contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the MGPN website. If you experience a barrier, have suggestions, or need an alternative format:

Compliance and jurisdiction
This Statement reflects MGPN’s commitment to accessibility under applicable Canadian and Manitoba law, including the Accessibility for Manitobans Act and the Accessible Canada Act.
