Why MGPN sponsorship matters

Truth and Reconciliation requires more than short-term programs or symbolic commitments. It requires economic participation — and economic participation requires jobs, wages, and long-term inclusion in the economy.

MGPN delivers economic reconciliation through a working business: an Indigenous-led workforce engine that builds durable digital careers via structured training, supervised practice on real client work, work-readiness assessment, and paid employment at MGPN. Sponsorship funds the parts of that model that aren’t yet self-funding through client revenue — and accelerates the rest.

Sponsoring MGPN directly contributes to Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action 7 and 92 — closing the Indigenous education and employment gap and ensuring equitable access to corporate jobs, training, and economic participation. Sponsors get reconciliation language that’s defensible, ESG reporting that’s measurable, and Indigenous procurement alignment that’s auditable.

Why Sponsor MGPN

Reconciliation requires more than short-term programs. It requires economic participation — jobs, wages, sustained careers. MGPN is the working business that delivers it: training and supervised practice that become paid employment at MGPN, once participants are assessed as work-ready.

Sponsorship contributes to:

  • Indigenous talent in skilled digital roles, in their home communities
  • Real client work by trained, MGPN-employed staff — not simulated training
  • Workforce development in Northern Manitoba and Indigenous communities
  • Outcomes aligned with TRC Calls 7 and 92, ESG, and Indigenous procurement frameworks

    What Sponsorship Enables

Sponsor contributions go directly into the operating model:

    • Training seats aligned to the real digital roles MGPN actually staffs
    • Digital tools, platforms, and secure infrastructure the cohort and the service lines depend on
    • Wages for cohort members who have completed work-readiness assessment and entered paid roles at MGPN
    • Certifications and compliance-based skills development
    • Community engagement, outreach, and showcases that recruit the next cohort
    • Reporting, evaluation, and accountability systems that keep the model auditable

Every dollar is tied to a defined purpose, with audit-ready tracking of where it landed and what it produced.

    Sponsorship Waitlist

MGPN is assembling a limited group of founding sponsors and partners to support the launch of Indigenous digital workforce pathways in Northern Manitoba and beyond.

Joining the sponsorship waitlist allows your organization to receive early information, sponsorship options, and priority access to briefings as opportunities open.

    COMMITMENTS IN PRACTICE

TRC Calls to Action — and how MGPN delivers against them

Auditable practice mapped to specific commitments. Not aspirational; operational.

    CALL TO ACTION 7
Close the Indigenous education and employment gap.
Cohort employment model: structured training, supervised practice on real client work, work-readiness assessment, then paid employment at MGPN. Outcomes are measured in employed alumni and continuing careers — not certificates earned.
    CALL TO ACTION 92(i)
Meaningful consultation, consent, and respectful relationships.
Indigenous-majority ownership with documented operational control. CCIB-certified. Decisions about strategy, hiring, partnerships, and client work stay with Indigenous-majority leadership — by design, not by exception.
    CALL TO ACTION 92(ii)
Equitable access to jobs, training, and sustainable economic benefits.
Remote-first delivery from rural and Indigenous communities — no relocation required. Wages, skills, and career advancement compound locally. Long-term careers are built inside the company that trained them.
    CALL TO ACTION 92(iii)
Cultural competency, Indigenous history, UNDRIP, and anti-racism education.
OCAP®-aligned data-handling and governance protocols. Cultural competency is structurally built in — the Indigenous-led team is the engagement, not a workshop bolted on. Indigenous rights frameworks inform our governance documentation.
